One of the great characteristics of Mini Aussies is their love for their people and ability to adapt well to almost any environment. Mini Aussies love being with their people, and with a reasonable amount of adventure time, can do well even in moderate sized apartments.

Aussies love to run and play! So wide open spaces are fine with them! Originally bred as working dogs, they do quite well in a variety of country settings.

Seems like a longshot, but why not? If scientists can figure out humans living on Mars, we are sure Mini Aussies would do well there too!

OUR PARENT DOGS

Maximus

This is our studly stud Maximus! Just look at that mane! With those flowing locks and shining eyes he belongs on the cover of a romantic novel! Seriously though, he's our fluffball and we love him for it. He's as big as he could be as a mini, weighing 40 pounds. Maximus comes from champion bloodlines and it shows. He's super sweet and his most favorite thing in the whole world is kissing your face... incessantly. He will love on anyone who will let him! Like all Aussies, he is very intelligent and loves to please his Mommy and Daddy!

Baretta

Baretta is our newest addition to our little pack and family! We are still considering what her Greek name will be, so for now we’re sticking with Baretta. She’s a gorgeous minimal white blue Merle, with stunning blue eyes! She is super sweet and already wants to be as close to us as possible! She loves us all, but we all know who her favorite is (our baby boy, of course). She’s eager to obey, always looking over at us to see if we will give her a command or to make sure what she’s doing is ok. And just like Maximus, she loves belly rubs! Maybe it’s in the blood? Baretta is our smallest mama dog, weighing 33 pounds.

Reine

Pronounced "Rainy," Reine's name is derived from the Koine Greek word for peace. This turned out to be the perfect name for her! She is our most laid back, calm, peaceful dog. She's perfectly content to just hang out with her people on the couch (well, we're on the couch, she's on us. She thinks she's a lap dog). Reine is also a great mama and when she doesn't have puppies, she mama's our baby. Whenever he cries, she comes over and gives him kisses to calm him down. Like Maximus, she is also a larger mini, weighing 38 pounds.

Zoe is the life of the party! Her name in Koine Greek means life, which she is sure full of! She loves people. Her people. New people. Pretty much any people lol. She’ll greet anyone with a butt wag and lots of kisses! She always wants to be near us! She will follow us around as we are working on projects. She is incredibly intelligent, always watching us, trying to figure out what we’re doing and if she can do it too! She is one of our smaller dogs at 34 pounds.

Zoe

All of our parent dogs have excellent personalities and temperaments that we are proud to pass on to our puppies. Each of them also have champion bloodlines that trace back to some of the oldest and best Aussie breeders!

Meet the Breeders

Hello!

This is a picture of my husband and I with our very first Aussie on her first offgrid adventure! We fell in love with Aussies when he gave her to me after I graduated from college. We’ve always loved going on outdoor adventures; hiking, camping, rafting, pretty much anything outside. And we wanted a dog who we could take with us. That’s what turned us on to the Aussie! They had the energy we wanted, but more importantly, the intelligence and loyalty we needed to be able to take them along. That’s when we decided to take the plunge and get our first fur baby as a couple. And that was it. That’s how every other breed of dog was ruined for us! There was no going back, we will never have anything other than an Aussie from here on out! She was the best dog either of us had ever known; smart, loving, and loyal. And that’s why we decided we wanted to breed. We honestly believe that there is no better furry companion than the Australian Shepherd and it is our honor and joy to be able to raise the puppies that become those perfect companions!
